Our Laner of the Week is Caitlin Mesiano! While she’s originally from Long Island, NY, she now resides in Brooklyn with her husband and their Mini Pin, Kya! Caitlin always brings a warm and infectious energy to site, making her a super approachable and inviting staff member. Enough of the small talk…let’s get to the goods!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
I love the people at Mustard Lane! It’s actually what I love the most about working events: meeting all different types of people.
When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!
Probably watching HGTV….I love a good house flip!
Favorite restaurant or food?
Mmmm…sushi or Mexican is always a win for me.
What is one of your goals for 2024…other than becoming Laner of the Week?
To be more active – both physically and in the “go-get-em” sense.
What’s your favorite travel experience and why?!
In college I went to Greece for 10 days and I’ve been itching to travel to Europe again ever since. To be surrounded by so much Ancient history at every turn was a mind-blowing and humbling experience.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off from the Lane?
Snuggling my dog for hours.
Favorite media you’ve consumed recently?
Finally just started watching The Office!
What’s your hidden talent?!
I can make excellent fake fart noises.
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
Anything that gives me the opportunity to positively represent the Cleft Community and people with facial differences!
What’s an essential part of your daily Laner routine?
Caffeine!
Ok so…is your coffee/tea iced or hot during the summer months?
Iced Americano or Iced Green Tea.
Speaking of summer…pool or beach?!
In my younger years I was a beach bum. These days, I prefer the sandless experience of lounging poolside.
What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Don’t take your talents for granted; there’s a reason they’re also called gifts.
What’s a brand or event that you would love to represent or work for Mustard Lane should the chance ever arise?
YANKEES.
What inspires you most?
My niece and Godchild, Ella.
