Meet Will! Our talented and passionate OG Laner in Chicago! Will graduated from Northwestern University and works as a stage actor. He's currently quarantining but previously he was working in venues all around Chicago! He is an avid reader so he has spent his Corona time reading, enjoying home workouts, and learning new creative recipes in the kitchen! Will is a natural leader and brings a sense of direction and organization to every event he works. We love having this OG Laner on our team!!
Why do you LOVE working on the Lane?
Mustard Lane staffs the BEST events and activations. They’re always unique, classy and high paced. It’s usually hard to tell who’s having more fun; the event attendees or the Laners!
What is your best attribute as a BA?
I get a sense of the client/contact’s vibe right away, so I can always try to be a few steps ahead of their needs.
Most memorable gig with ML?
I was lucky enough to team lead the San Pellegrino activation at the James Beard Awards in Chicago for the past couple years. There are always a lot of very fancy people in attendance, the fashion is typically outrageous and you’re encouraged to sample award winning cuisine on your break.
What did you learn from your quarantine experience?
Throughly heat the oil before adding the ingredients to your skillet!
Are you back to work or gigs?
I’m not! I’m also addicted to checking the CNN Coronavirus Live Updates Feed every 15-20 minutes, and based on that, I kind of think it’ll still be a bit before traditional work/gigs even occur!
What has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
I’ve been in a couple completely blissful productions that felt exactly like the dreams I had when I was a little boy thinking about what it would be like to be on stage.
What are you looking to achieve in your career this year?
I think like a producer, so I’d like to explore and pursue opportunities that let me flourish in that capacity.
Are you typically a homebody or a social butterfly?
Big time, big time homebody!
How would your best friend describe you?
I think they’d say I was thoughtful, passionate and GREAT at puns.
