What’s been happening on the Lane?

A lot has been happening on the Lane! We have some new internal hires that we’re very excited about. We welcome Lauren Haber our Chief Innovator and our first full time, non-actor hire!! Deven Anderson, our Chief Operations, he’s not only a ninja in the office but onsite as well! And last but not least, Jen Donohoo, our top recruiter!

Here’s a brief recap of just a few things that we’ve been up to outside the office!

Lavazza – US Open

In August, we worked with the official US Open coffee sponsor, Lavazza coffee. Our Laners went through weeks of training to prepare for the Open. Throughout the tournament, the Laners worked as baristas and servers, delivering each cup of coffee with a smile. This was one of our largest activations to date. It all came together with the teamwork and dedication from our amazing staff.

Civic – Mars activation

In October we worked with Civic Entertainment and National Geographic to celebrate the launch of their new series, MARS, NGC created an immersive installation that allowed visitors to experience unique anti-gravity rides. Deven Anderson, a manager at the MARS activation said “MARS was by far the coolest gig I’ve worked. It was a realistic way of experiencing what very few people get to experience. The activation had antigravity walking pods, a roller coaster and several other innovative rides. As a Laner working this activation I had the opportunity to education visitors and help them have an incredible experience which made this an equally amazing and rewarding experience.”

NYC Marathon – Marathon season was a busy time on the Lane. The NYC Marathon Expo welcomes over 100,000 runners and guests over the 3 days and we had over 20 staff at the expo each day! We partnered with Eventage and Gatorade helping to facilitate Gatorade’s Prime Energy Carb drinks to the racers. Additionally, we joined with New York Road Runners to work their expo booths. They’re always a pleasure to work with and this year was no exception. We also worked with the official sponsor of the NYC Marathon, TCS consulting services. Our brand ambassadors enjoyed getting to interact with the runners along with increase brand awareness for each of these companies.

Sparks – Big City Moms – In November, we also worked with Sparks and Big City Moms at their semi-annual Biggest Baby Shower in NYC. We had several production assistants on site bright and early to revamp the space into Big City Mom’s dream event! Once the event started, our Laners worked check-in & checkout, tended the mocktail bars and represented several different booths. This is an event that we look forward to EVERY TIME.  A big congrats to the Big City Mom’s on their expansion through the years… look for this event in LA, DC, Boston and Miami!

MKG – Absolut

We did an awesome gig with MKG, Lyft and Absolut to promote Absolut’s new app, HOPPR. Our promotional models worked different roles at this mega party. We had check in staff, dancers on the floor and even LED helmet guys. We also provided brand ambassadors to ride in Special Lyft cars to invite customers to the party!

Café Bustelo Pop Ups – We had the opportunity to work with Café Bustelo with BMF Media creating a memorable experience for customers attending pop-up café.  Our staff had a blast serving coffee and promoting Café Bustelo. Our Brand Ambassadors have rocked this activation in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and New York City. We’ve had tremendous success in each location due to our amazing team of energetic (caffeine-addicted) Laners
