This week’s #Laner is the hunky Derek Jorden. He says of working on the Lane, “Mustard Lane greatly helped my transition to NYC. Being a part of this team of incredible people– creative, driven, caring, encouraging, brainy, and sometimes zany–was a perfect way for me to plug into life in such a big city. It has also been pretty neat to visit some of the spectacular venues Mustard Lane gets the opportunity to work at: beautifully decorated lawn tents, rooftops with striking views, or even the historic Hammerstein Ballroom.”
When he isn’t hanging out on Mustard Lane, Derek Jorden is a working actor. He is currently currently working on a childrens’ show called “Tales of Chelm” with Educational Theater New York and a stage adaptation of Franz Kafka’s masterpiece, “The Judgment” at the new Clarion Theater on East 26th St. You can spot him there or the next Mustard Lane event! We’re so happy to have him on staff.
