Meet Tara! Our theatre loving Laner of the Week! Originally from Kirkwood, Missouri she now splits her time between New York and LA! She is truly passionate about theatre and acting and really loves to take on the challenge of Shakespeare and heightened text. When she isn’t acting or on the Lane, you can find her writing screenplays or training for an Ironman! We love having this strong and creative Laner on our team!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
I love meeting new people and bringing joy to each event!
When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!
I’m cycling, swimming, running or listening to a crime podcast.
Favorite restaurant or food?
Sala Thai!
What is one of your goals for 2022?
To be cast in a TV show.
Name a place you’d love to travel to. And why?!
The list is long, but I’m currently planning a cycling trip up to Canada (hopefully before it gets too cold). 800 miles!
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Enjoying nature and spoiling my frenchie, Henri!
Do you prefer podcasts or books? Favorite one?
Books! Ruth Ware, “in a dark dark wood” but there are so many! Tina Packer’s “Women of Will” and Damnation Island (about Roosevelt Island) are a few I’ve recently read.
What’s your hidden talent?!
I know ASL, can memorize incredibly fast and am surprisingly good at landscaping (building terraces, patios, stonewalls etc) *thanks Dad
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
Starring in a Shakespeare play on Broadway and during the day, filming a feature that incites thought provoking ideas and sticks with the viewers weeks after watching it.
What’s an essential part of your daily routine?

What is your favorite family or friend tradition?
Every birthday we make a cake in the shape of a lamb and the birthday person eats the head. It’s more fun than it sounds.
What inspires you most?
The first one that comes to mind is witnessing acts of selfless generosity in the world.
