Meet Suzanna!! Our talented and funny, Laner of the Week! Suzanna is an actress born to Polish immigrant parents in New Jersey. She is a first generation American, pursuing her passion for acting in NYC! She studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and is thinking about trying her hand at stand up comedy next! We love having her fun and positive energy on our team!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
I love all the people I’ve met at Mustard Lane! Everyone is so nice and fun to work with!
When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!
I’m an actor and improvisor. You can find me doing improv with my house team accidentalFACETIME on Friday nights with The Armory. We perform at The Tank! Or I’m auditioning or bartending!
Favorite restaurant or food?
Gotta be pizza!
What is one of your goals for 2022?
I’d love to travel more and I really want to try Stand Up Comedy!
Name a place you’d love to travel to. And why?!
I’ve always wanted to go to Iceland. The northern lights just seem so magical to me.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
In my downtime you can usually find me hanging with my dog Beans, buying more house plants (never enough) or attempting a new DIY project. Where’s my hot glue gun?!
Do you prefer podcasts or books? Favorite one?
Books! My favorite book as of late has to be ‘The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue” Everyone needs to read it!
What’s your hidden talent?!
I’ve kept all 40 of my plants alive!
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
One of the leads in a TV series. Scrubs is still one of my favorite shows, so a show that’s silly and funny and still heartwarming is something I’d love to be a part of!
What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Walking with my dog.
What is your favorite family or friend tradition?
Christmas Eve with my family. It’s always nice to see everyone and now I have a nephew and a niece and it’s so fun to watch them get super excited!
What inspires you most?
I’m most inspired by people who are not afraid to be themselves. Let’s all just be weird together!
