Post Post Holiday Party Fun
Last week we hosted our Post Post Holiday Party at American Beauty right below our old office. This literally was the first date that we did not have an evening event booked since the beginning of the year! The night started off with the incredible Pretty Sad White Girls who formed their band at our holiday party last year. They kicked off the night with their comedic act and a personal favorite of theirs, My Neck, My Back. The PSWGs introduced the talent for our show which ranged from parody songs, original poetry, a book reading, cover songs, a roast, dance performances and a tap dance.
Our panel of highly qualified judges included Matt Zur, Craig DiBiase, Juan Gomez and Brian Goetz. The panel had a difficult time deciding the winner but in the end Basit Shittu and Claire Avakian took the W. Claire showcased her talent of tap dancing as Basit blew away the crowd with his vocals. Not only did they steal the show but they were definitely best dressed of the party (pictured above). The raffle winners were Annette Navarro, Desiree Kostelnik and Karlee Ferreira who performed a dance number to Marry The Night with Annette on vocals!
Laners new and old joined us for this special night. Mustard Lane has grown tremendously throughout the years and we’re so thankful for this amazing family. The night was filled with some pretty impressive dance moves, a dancing cage and Lisa B doing the splits.
The party was a huge success with the help of our awesome deejay, Stephen Ellis, also known at Sur Jazz. He’s a long time Laner and part of our core ML family!
