What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
Working with Mustard Lane is the perfect combination of having a good time while remaining professional and enjoying a unique experience. From interacting with the event goers to my coworkers.. It’s a warm environment.
When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!
When I’m not on the Lane I am doing whatever my heart desires… which is a lot of things. During the day, I am an executive assistant or admin coordinator for corporate America. I am also a dance instructor and performance coach. I write, act and production manage for creative films/projects; and if I’m not doing all of this…sometimes I’m just knitting.
Favorite restaurant or food?
Favorite Food: Anything Jerk.
Any goals you’re workin’ on for 2026?
I plan to challenge myself to do more things “I’ve always wanted to do,” and develop a balance in that and self care.
Favorite travel experience? Favorite places to visit?
No favorite travel experience but I love to travel because it exposes me to a different perspective on what it means to live. Places I’ve loved visiting: Montego Bay Jamaica, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Wiliamsport PA, Cartegena Colombia
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off from the Lane?
Flowing – Doing whatever I want, when I want.
Awards Season is upon us…any movie/actor/designer etc you’re rooting for?
Everyone black – Issa Rae.
What’s your hidden talent?!
I can move my ears?
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
I don’t dream of labor lol Jk Jk ..it would be that my passion projects pay me – residually.
What’s an essential part of your daily Laner routine?
Dancing in the morning or right before bed. A jam session a day keeps the sadness away!
What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Sometimes being still is all you need to be.
It’s winter! What do you look forward to this time of year?
Saving my money.
Hibernation or Activation?! How do you approach winter and the New Year?
Balance between both Hibernating and Activating.
Favorite kind of soup? (for staying warm, of course)
My mom’s bean soup.
What’s a brand or event that you would love to represent or work as a Laner, should the chance ever arise?
An Award Show like the Oscars, or movie premiere/red carpet event!
Any advice for someone looking to join the Lane and get started with freelance event work?
Just do it. There’s room for everyone; you just need to see what position works best for you.
How do you stay inspired?
I try to remind myself that I’m the main character in my story, so each day is a new blank page that I can fill in whatever way I like.
