Our Laner of the Week, Lindsay, has come a long way from her hometown of Damascus, Maryland: land of blue crabs and cows. Still, every once in a while, a “hon” slips out, and she can pick a crab like nobody’s business!
After leaving that small town, she trained at the acclaimed Moscow Art Theatre school in Russia: land of vodka and furry hats , and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University.
Starting her career off with a bang – at age 10! – she toured North America with the 20th Anniversary Tour of “Annie”, and now lives in Los Angeles: land of iced coffee and tacos. When she is not on set, or the Lane, you can find Lindsay volunteering her time at Every Day Action, reallocating leftover food directly from sets, restaurants, and festivals to shelters! If you are sitting next to her in traffic and she’s bopping around like a crazy person, chances are “Total Eclipse of the Heart” or the “Hamilton” cast recording is playing. Let’s join in on the dance party and see what else Lindsay’s up to!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
Mustard has the kindest, and genuinely enthusiastic team around. I love brightening up the day of every guest when I work an event! There is something special about being able to spread the excitement of a new show, movie, or product with the world.
When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!
My favorite non profit in the world is Every Day Action. I reallocate leftover food directly form set and events to shelters and Los Angeles’ food-insecure neighbors. With the chaos all around us, I am able to keep smiling knowing that there are people coming together to support and uplift one another.
Favorite restaurant or food?
Crab Cakes: specifically the secret family recipie using Chesapeake Blue Crabs…
Something you’re excited about for the rest of 2026?
I am looking forward to the film industry upswinging and bringing more productions back to LA in 2026 and beyond!
Name a place you loved traveling to and why it was so special!
A 2 week yoga retreat in Tuscany was the trip of a lifetime. We stayed in a Renaissance era castle on a secluded hill with a private chef and connected to nature, art, and serenity non-stop.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off from the Lane?

One of your fave songs…?
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough – My family plays it while we cook and dance in the kitchen every Thanksgiving.
What’s your hidden talent?!
I can do a headstand any time, any where. And often do!
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, other than Laner of the Week, what would it be?
I have adored every show Bill Lawrence creates. A series regular on his next show would be a dream come true.
What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Coffee and Meditating before any screen time. The older I get, the more essential it becomes.
What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Always carry a power brick and charging cord.
Spring is here…thoughts on rain? Dance in it or seek cover?
As long as it’s a warm rain and I have some hot tea on standby – let’s dance!
What’s a brand or event that you would love to represent or work as a Laner should the chance ever arise?
The Oscars! I want to see behind that fancy Hollywood curtain.
What keeps you inspired?
A good sitcom like Shrinking for a daily laugh, and listening to musicals – “Parade” is a heavy one but it always reminds me how powerful art can be.
Any advice for someone wanting to become a Laner and get into event work?
Learn as much as you can about the product and event beforehand. That way, you can connect with the guests, easily answer all questions, and get them as excited as possible to spread the word.
