Need Meaux Space?! Everyone could use a lil’ MEAUX…Space! More intimate gatherings, more florals, more drinks, more community. And it just so happens that our venue, MeauxSpace can provide all of that, and…MEAUX!
Located in the heart of Chelsea, Meaux Space is the perfect venue for your next intimate gathering. Whether it be a seated dinner, brand promotion, catered event or fundraiser, our 1,800 square foot space is just what you’ve been looking for.
What you may not realize is that Meaux Space is also the Mustard Lane office! Yep, within the space is our own little sanctioned office where all the Mustard Magic happens. How lucky are we to get up from our desks and step into a beautiful, bright event space?! As an event staffing agency, with our own non-profit as well, Meaux Space has proven to be an amazing asset for all facets of what we’ve got going on. This also means that we’ve got our go-to staff from the Mustard Lane roster for all Meaux events.
But what all has Meaux Space done? What kind of events are best for the space? Well…let’s look at a few examples of the many events we’ve hosted this past year…
Seated Dinners / Brand Events
We love hosting seated dinners and small brand events! The space is perfect for those intimate gatherings, where you and your friends/family will have plenty of room for everything you need, while also actually filling up the space. One of Meaux Space’s coolest attributes is that it’s a very moldable, almost-blank canvas! As is, it’s a clean, modern aesthetic; but beyond that foundation, there’s plenty of room for you to get creative and personalize/style the space however you want for your event!
Our kitchen allows for a beautiful and convenient prep station. Meanwhile, we’ve got multiple table options for your seated dinner, as well as our other comfy furniture for those cozy, cocktail conversations. Below are some pictures from a beautiful evening for Lulu Lemon!
When it comes to hosting your brand promotion here, the options are endless! With our wifi, projector, and wheel-able TV, you can do all kinds of presentations and product displays! (All of this under the gorgeous natural light that floods Meaux Space during the day!) During Fashion Week, Tini Lux & Aiir turned the space into the perfect promotional brand event!
Meaux Event / Fundraiser
We’re fortunate to have our own space that we can experiment with – which has led to us discovering all kinds of ways to use it! Our nonprofit, Off the Lane, hosts seminars, small events/gatherings, concerts and even immersive theatrical performances!
Last November, Off the Lane held their annual fundraiser at Meaux Space! The night included a cash bar, passed bites, and a concert! American Idol’s Miles Moon gave a stellar show with funk and soul.
Last May, young artists affiliated with Off the Lane mounted the in-your-lap production of SMJ’s play, Small Town Icons. Guests were front and center as they watched this high school mystery unfold! The cluttered, disheveled setting is not our usual aesthetic, but…just goes to prove that our lil’ Meaux Space can pull anything off!
Catered Parties!
While neither Meaux Space or Mustard Lane are catering companies, we still manage to help folks throw fabulous catered parties! And that’s all due to our favorite vendor, Herb-n-Peach! We’ve had a longtime connection with them, and they always pull out all the stops. Herb-n-Peach is so familiar with our space, and all that we do here, it makes for a seamless catered experience. Whether it’s hors d’oeuvres or dinner – or anything in between! – we can’t recommend them enough.
Meaux Photo/Video Shoots!
This might be a less obvious use of the space, but…as we’ve mentioned…that natural lighting is impeccable. And again, the versatility of the space allows for just about anything! We’ve had our internal team headshots taken at Meaux Space as well as other headshot sessions. The space has even been booked for a Katie Couric interview – check out this clip of it!
