The Small and Silver Screen:  Mustard Lane TV and Film Promotions!

Mustard Lane started as a mustard seed of a company:  small, but packed with the potential to grow into a tree with hundreds of branches.  The newest, most exciting branch of our tree stretches into the world of film and television promotions. promotionsOur very first opportunity in this department came in 2011, when we were hired by NYC&Company to staff a live activation for the Smurfs movie.  We donned white hats, slapped on some smiles, and had an awesome time.  More recently, we've scootered male models down 14th Street at the Zoolander Center for People Who Don't Age Good, dunked an inebriated Abraham Lincoln for Comedy Central's Drunk History at the SXSW Festival, and dressed an entire team in Revolutionary War gear and stood them at attention.  Needless to say, we're having a blast. The key to Mustard Lane's success lies in the fact that we actually hire actors.  Unlike some companies, where they force their employees to make their company a top priority, we understand that actors actually... act!  That their work on Mustard Lane is in fact a day job.  Because we understand our staff so well, we are able to attract top talent, who slide effortlessly into character and into costume.  "I feel like our clients are finally putting two and two together and realizing that they can hire us to do "actory" things... because we actually hire actors!" says CEO Kristal Mallookis.  "I'm loving that this is now part of our every day Lane, and not just one-off activations here and there." Mallookis is quick to add, "Also, we have a lot of talented people who work on Mustard Lane.  It's pretty insane!" Check out our #LOTW posts for more information about our talented staff.  Or look for them at the next high-profile film or TV activation.  Coming up, we're working with some of our favorite people at Civic Entertainment Group to staff some kick-ass promotions at San Diego's Comic Con!  We couldn't be more thrilled with the direction the company is headed.
