Hello 2023!! If January is any indication of the year ahead, we have a lot to look forward to! January is a wonderful time for us here on the Lane to regroup and pour into fine tuning our process! Laners stayed busy with 281 shifts worked, 45 activations, and 17 HAPPY clients! "Meaux space has been hoppin’ this month with 5 rentals so far! We have had the pleasure of hosting Katie Couric Media for some amazing interview shoots as well as a tasting with our fave caterer, Herb n’ Peach and a birthday party coming up this weekend! We also hosted 23five Events who designed and executed the most amazing baby shower. We can’t wait to have them back in the space again! Slow January? No way!" - Jillian Schiralli
"Once again, Mustard Lane answered the last second call from the CAMP team requesting staff for their Mickey and Friends Camp store activation in Dallas! Having been known for extremely last second multi-day requests, Mustard Lane gathered a small All-Star Team of Dallas Laners to jump in and assist the CAMP staff for this two-month Family Friendly Activation!"
"Our staff assisted kids and eager family members (as well as extremely patient parents) through an activation where guests and Mickey's friends have all been shrunk to the size of a crayon and interacting with fun filled overs sized stations and props...Its a small world after all! If you are in Dallas, be sure to check this out! Even if you don't have a kid! Scratch that, they probably don't let people do that. "I didn’t work on too many ML events this month because I spent 3 weeks at the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023 traveling in Australia! I totally unplugged from ML happenings, flew to the complete other side of the world, and got to enjoy some sunshine and adventures. I may or may not have tasted my first (and likely last) taste of kangaroo."

"As per January tradition, our Laners got to work Retail’s Big Show, hosted by the National Retail Federation at the Javits Center! With three days, 175+ sessions, 350+ speakers, and 1000+ exhibitors, this definitely is a BIG show! There were some long days but the team had a blast bringing that Laner pizazz to guests from all over the world."
"Laners donned the infamous red “Ask Me!” aprons, fielding questions and guiding people to different booths within the expo. One of our teams was even stationed at the “Innovation Lab,” where some of the newest technologies and developments were showcased..including holograms! Our non profit, Off The Lane is gearing up our 9th Session of the Mentorship Program! It's not too late to get involved. We are seeking Mentees, college seniors, motivated juniors, or early career professionals who plan to move to NYC to pursue a career in arts and entertainment and Mentors, creative arts working professionals that have lived in NYC 5+ years and are passionate about giving back to the next generation of artists.
