Lo Erin Jackson is our Laner of the Week!!

M / L

Meet Lo Erin! Our craft-loving, artistic Laner of the Week!! Originally from Columbus, Lo moved to New York City this year! She has a passion for any sort of creative projects including photography, embroidery, design...the list is endless! She studied musical theatre and believes that great storytelling is at the heart of performance! She is dedicated to connecting with others through art and is currently working on some original music for her first album!! We love having her creative and passionate spirit on our team!

What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?

I have loved getting to know my fellow Laners! Mustard Lane is so welcoming and supportive. They have also given me some of the coolest gig experiences since moving to the city earlier this year. Somedays you are guiding people to their reserved seating, sometimes you get to see Reese Witherspoon up close! This job always has something new and exciting to offer.

When you're not on the Lane...what are you doing?!

I work as the Office Coordinator for Sprinklr! I work with Juliette & Ella's Playdate teaching music and dance classes and doing princess parties.

Favorite restaurant or food?

Probably ice cream or macaroons (I have a big sweet tooth!)

What is one of your goals for 2022?

One of my goals is to record my first album!

Name a place you'd love to travel to. And why?!

I would love to go to Vienna! I have been to Germany, which is my absolute favorite place. I would love to go further south to Austria and see the beautiful waterfalls and architecture, and practice my German!

What's your favorite way to spend a day off?

I love to lounge around in my pajamas for as long as possible. I also love to hang out with friends whenever possible!

Do you prefer podcasts or books? Favorite one?

I do a little bit of both, but I mostly just listen to music. I know that's avoiding the question, but I really don't have a preference. My favorite podcast is Armchair Expert, and my favorite book is "Big Magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert!

What's your hidden talent?!

I am pretty flexible! I can still throw myself into a backbend from standing up (even though I haven't done gymnastics in over 15 years)

If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?

I would be a baker/pastry chef! I have no real baking experience, but I would love to own a bakery in a small European town. Also, anything involving travel would be a dream!

What's an essential part of your daily routine?

Afternoon tea! I drink Earl Grey with oat milk almost every day after lunch.

What is your favorite family or friend tradition?

Every summer, my family and our family friends spend a week at Chautauqua Institution on the lake! We have nearly two decades' worth of memories together that are immeasurable.

What inspires you most?

I am most inspired by how art can create social change, how travel can enhance the human experience, and how valuable it is to connect with others.
