Meet Lisa!! Our food loving, Laner of the Week! Originally from New York City, Lisa moved to Philadelphia to attend college at Temple University. There she pursued her passion for food and travel by studying tourism and hospitality management! Lisa is FULL of energy and will try anything once! She brings that excitement for life to every event that she works! We love having this passionate foodie on our team!

What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?

What I like most about Mustard Lane, is that they genuinely care for the employees, and give them the tools they need to feel empowered and to put on a successful event. Plus, Mustard Lane is organized and highly communicative, and loyal to staff, that put their all into programs!..(That’s a true breath of fresh air in this industry lol ๐Ÿ™‚

When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!

Probably perfecting a new recipe … I am a gourmande.

Favorite restaurant or food?

Uggggh…this question is a toughie! I love it all… from Ghanaian cuisine to Italian to French..to Asian…to Mediterranean… safe to say, my favorite is World Cuisine ๐Ÿ™‚

What is one of your goals for 2022?

Ssssh, I keep my goals to myself- can’t count my eggs before they hatch. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Name a place you’d love to travel to. And why?!

Besides Ghana, I would love to tour the Mediterranean because of the weather, I want to swim in the waters ( dead sea minerals -I’m here for it!! )And of course the fooooooooooooooood!

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?

Eating good…creating something pretty and just overall enjoying the finer things in life.

If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?

Having a culture show … Traveling the world exploring the food, sound, and sights.

What’s an essential part of your daily routine?

Tea, and water first thing in the morning.

What is your favorite family or friend tradition?

Eating grapes on New Years eve.. symbolizes, having a year of good health & wealth!

What inspires you most?

I am inspired by the classic underdog story of people rising from the ashes like the Phoenix, despite the challenges they’ve faced.
