Laner Feature: Michael Pricharda

M / L

We are spending Friday’s exploring and featuring our Laners! This past year has been challenging for us all and yet, our Laners continue to pursue their passions, grow, and expand their skill sets to meet the new challenges life has thrown their way. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, adaptability, and artistry. It is our pleasure to feature some outstanding Laners over the next few months! And today’s spotlight is on Michael Pricharda.

What is the new job or project you’ve taken on?

I have been finishing up some coursework that will allow me to build out networks and IoT for residential and commercial clientele.

I can efficiently create diverse cloud, local server, in-house network, IoT solutions etc as well as other MSP services for customers.

I build a lot of things for fun, now I get paid to do it!

What made you go in this direction?

I already had schooling started and have been doing this for years without the degree…Covid19 times have presented an opportunity to get more funding and grants than were available to me before. So I jumped on the opportunity!

What has been the most exciting part of taking on this new adventure?

I have been able to make more in-roads towards a career that is cutting-edge.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned throughout this journey?

That you always need more time, so prioritize the best you can, do not distract easily, and set goals by a time standard you can adhere to. Lately for me it’s been 24 hours at a time!

What are you most looking forward to?

I would like to build a multi-million dollar MSP brand while being able to perform remotely 99% of the time.

Do you have any advice to those looking to follow in your footsteps?

I would advise everyone to spend energy building out multiple income streams, and most of them should monetize your passions.

Nothing comes easy so expect SETBACK (in whatever form it chooses to appear) to be around multiple corners. Setbacks are SETups for your comeBACK, don’t let any of it breed apathy towards your success.
