Meet John Ryan!! A rockstar on our wonderful team of NYC Laners!! This singer, actor, and occasional voguer from Houston Texas now calls Astoria, Queens home. When he is not working on the Lane, you can find him playing with his band, Rosemont Post! You can catch them all over Manhattan and they are gearing up for the release of their first album! So exciting! We love to see our Laners creating! We are excited to see what he does next!

Why do you LOVE working on the Lane?
I love working for the Lane because I get to work with the best people in the city!
What is your dream vacation?
Somewhere in Greece surrounded by water and shirtless men.
How would your best friend describe you?
Probably something like “he’s the sunshine of my life, so patient, funny, talented, cute, driven, honest and most of all humble” idk something like that I’m guessing.
What would we find in your fridge right now?
One single margarita. Salted rim. With a lime wedge. Probably some eggs too.
Who was your childhood crush?
Omg. JC Chavez from *NSYNC!
What is your favorite 90's jam?
The. Boy. Is. Mine.
What is your cheat day meal?
Soup Dumplings in Chinatown! Oh and pizza, ice cream, fried chicken, empanadas, margaritas, fries, tacos, bacon and egg and cheeses. So that’s lunch. I’ll get back to you about dinner.
What is your greatest attribute as a BA?
I’m a fast learner, a team player, and can make anything fun!
What would be your superpower and why?
I would want the power to communicate with machines. And then befriend a Chase ATM machine so they will give me all the money.
