Meet Jessica Broomhead, our amazing #Laner of the Week!

Jessica hails from Dallas, Texas. At a young age she developed her love for dancing and performing. This passion has given her the opportunity to travel and entertain all over the world. She moved to Vegas 5 years ago to continue pursuing her lifelong dream of performing. Two years after moving to Vegas, Jessica became a Laner!

Between performances Jessica is one of our go-to brand ambassadors and promotional models in Vegas. She is approaching her 4th year at ML! Jessica’s a standout Laner due to her leadership and professional attitude! Jessica’s favorite ML gig was a YouTube Music party at the MGM Grand “It was a big group of fabulous ML ladies and we all had a blast working together!”

When she’s not working as one of our promotional models or performing in a show, Jessica enjoys quality time with her husband and their two dogs. She’s also fond of traveling, knitting and listening to her record collection. For the last 3 years, Jessica performed with an incredible French Canadian artist, Véronic DiCaire. In addition to her residency in Las Vegas, the show took Jessica on tour all over Canada and Europe! This past summer, she even performed at a private charity gala for Prince Albert II of Monaco.

What famous person would you want to meet?

I would love to meet Amy Poehler. She is such an inspiration for young powerful women in modern society, and we would have so much fun laughing together.

What is your spirit animal and why?

I’ve always identified with Giraffes. I’m very tall and long, but can be goofy and awkward sometimes too!

What actor would perform as you in a movie about your life?

People often tell me I look like Emily Blunt, and I think she’s a brilliant actress with a great sense of humor in real life.

What is your favorite restaurant and the best item on the menu?

For a little-known Vegas local spot….I love Thai food at Lotus of Siam. It’s off the strip but not too far, and they have a Sea bass dish with Drunken Noodles that is to die for!

What is your favorite movie and why?

Maybe because it’s the holiday season, but I never get tired of watching White Christmas. They don’t make movies like that anymore.

What is something that made you smile today?

Relaxing with my husband and our two dogs on our day off together…he always knows how to make me laugh and smile!

Are you a morning or night person?

Night, definitely!

I am really good at knitting, I even design a lot of my own clothes.

What is the most bizarre job you’ve done?

I worked for almost a year in the customer service office of a meat-packing company.

Vanilla – Traditional, simple, and sweet!

I love spending down time at home with my family, and since it’s almost Christmas…this week my husband and I picked out and decorated our very first real Christmas tree!

What time period would you visit in history?

1920’s so that I could dance the Charleston with the original flapper girls.
