It was a Busy June but We Survived!

M / L
Busy June is over, time to celebrate!! The past month has been jam packed and so much fun! The New York team worked their tails off with many projects, including eight different long-term activations! We're all so ready for the holiday weekend, but before we grab a drink, we're debriefing on just a few of the events!

Shakespeare in the Park

As always, we LOVE working with our Showtime fam! The Laners were in Central Park handing out Showtime promo cards, fans, and water bottles to the people waiting in line for tickets. They had a blast chatting with everyone in line and providing entertainment during their wait! If you haven't seen Shakespeare in the Park yet, be sure to check out the July showing of Coriolanus!

Museum of Plastic

We had the opportunity to work with Figment X and Lonely Whale, who hired Laners for the #museumofplastic in Soho. The pop-up was dedicated to educating people on the elimination of single use plastic. The Laners handed out Swell water bottles and other giveaways while guiding guests through the space.  This socially conscious event featured sustainable art and a movie theatre area with educational video streams, not to mention all the Instagrammable moments!

Hudson Yards

Last week Hudson Yards celebrated the Grand Opening of 35 Hudson Yards, an upscale residential tower in the heart of one of New York’s most up-and-coming scenes. With just under 3,000 invited guests, we staffed 150 positions for this incredible opening night presentation. From greeters to wayfinders, the staff took charge of welcoming potential tenants to the evening and directing them through their unique and tailored journeys throughout Hudson Yards and all it has to offer. The night ended with a private concert performance of Josh Groban, Adam Lambert, Sarah Brightman and Deborah Cox!

Converse

Great news!  The Converse pop-up is open until Sunday, July 7th so you can still check it out! Converse is committed to supporting movements for positive social change and amplifying young voices, to promote the future they believe in. We're so happy to be working with SEG Services and Converse to staff this awesome pop-up. The annual Converse Pride collection began in 2014, which allows guests to customize their items onsite. Swing by the Soho pop-up to see the Laners in action and get some customized shoes, pins, patches and posters!

Feel the Pride

To celebrate WorldPride, the Ally Coalition alongside Microsoft AI and Soundscape by St. Vincent created an immersive art installation pop-up in Soho entitled ‘Feel the Pride.’ Guests were invited into the experience to share personal sentiments about what Pride means to them. Microsoft’s Sentiment Analysis then translated these messages into a generative sound and light experience, representing the global community’s feelings about Pride.

In Addition

The Laners were also seen working a three day David Yurman activation, the Fatherly x Gillette pop-up, the TJ Maxx pop-up, the Josh Cellar's x Giftagram pop-up, the Telluride Wine Festival, the opening of three Under Armour Stores across the country, Arts Brookfield, LA Pride, The Bethesda E3 booth, the Euphoria Premiere, the Native Shoe pop-up, several Facebook events, a Compass event in Nashville, Gov Ball, a Zola pop-up and more! Now we're all ready for a drink! Check out @meauxspace for our special #Meauxdrink today! [gallery size="medium" ids="5534,5535,5545,5536,5537,5538,5542,5549,5550,5551,5552,5553"]
