Meet Iris!! Our creative and fashion loving Laner of the Week!! Iris was born in Houston and raised in Dayton and El Paso. She loves to be creative! Her passions include fashion design, sewing, crocheting, architecture…the list is endless! She is currently in school studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design. When Iris is not on the Lane, you can find her at the gym! Fitness and self care play a BIG roll in keeping this Laner balanced! We love having her healthy and creative energy on our team!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
In general, I love meeting new people and working with Mustard Lane has opened another lane (no pun intended 😂) or avenue for me to do that. Meeting new people gives me a broad perspective on life and I’ve learned a lot of critical lessons in my life when I’ve meet new people. There is something I can I always mentally take away from doing events and for me that is exciting!
When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!
When I’m not on the lane, I am working other jobs, going to the gym, and/ or figuring out a way to make my life even more sophisticatedly simple.
Favorite restaurant or food?
I am a fan of PLANT BASED foods!
What is one of your goals for 2022?
One of my goals in 2022 is to get my car 🚘 finally paid off!!!
Name a place you’d love to travel to. And why?!
I want to travel to the Maldives 🇲🇻 because I am a FEIN for that sparkling CRYSTAL blue water and LUSH views! 😩💕🙏🏽
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
I love to relax by taking a hot bubble bath, meditating, minimizing clutter, and going to get my nails done.
Do you prefer podcasts or books? Favorite one?
I love both, however my recent go-to has been PODCASTS because it allows me to multitask.
What’s your hidden talent?!
I can bend my toes toward me really far!
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
I would be a Fashion/ Face/ Hand Model Full-Time.
What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Drinking a GALLON of H2O is a Must- Have!
What is your favorite family or friend tradition?
I don’t have any because I am always evolving.
What inspires you most?
The PURE will to want BETTER for myself in life!
