Hannah Yi was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. She went on to study cinema at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts and got involved behind the scenes, working with Will Ferrell’s and Conan O’Brien’s production companies in Los Angeles. To continue her studies of acting, Hannah moved to NYC where she found ML to support her pursuits.
Her first big project was working with Lavazza for the US Open last August! When asked about her favorite ML gig Hannah said, “The global activation and premiere of National Geographic’s scripted series “Mars” was such an exciting event! The virtual reality and anti-gravity space challenges were really fun and neat stations! We got to connect with the public and my favorite interaction was with this 4-year-old French girl who didn’t know any English but she would come up to me and start talking away in French and show me her photos from the photo booth.”
Outside the Lane Hannah is a creator this past year she was part of The Barrow Group Apprentice Company. As well as a show called “Lonely, I’m Not” by Paul Weitz. Hannah also danced in a modern piece with some friends in a Bridge for Dance performance show this past December.
