Fiona is a fairly new Laner to the NYC team. She has been on the Lane for a few months now. Fiona recently made the post-grad move to the big apple from her hometown in Maryland and so far, she’s loving it! Luckily, home is a hop, skip and a Megabus away when she needs it. Fiona comes from a family of Irish musicians, so popping in for a hornpipe or jig always makes her happy. Though she has tried a number of instruments, theatre is her niche and the reason she came to NYC. Fiona just graduated with a degree in Theatre Performance from Penn State in May!
When we asked Fiona about her favorite ML event so far she told us about the Bustle’s “Rule Breakers” event in Prospect Park. She got to work with St.Ives handing out facial scrubs, and not only was it a beautiful day, but she also got to see Janelle Monae perform and made new friends! Fiona felt awesome being able to help put on a great event and it was an exciting introduction to the Laner life!
