It was one heck of a (Fashion) Week on Mustard Lane! We worked a slew of events for #NYFW2015, for brands like Bloomingdale’s, Lavazza, and Lane Bryant, among others! We loved partnering with media companies like Hudson Gray and BMF to participate in these very “New York-y” Fashion Week events.
For Bloomingdale’s, we staffed the Bloomingdale’s Vanity Bar, where individuals could refresh and resupply while entering to win free giveaways! For Lavazza we kept fashionistas caffeinated as the VIP parties carried on through the night. But our favorite event had to be the Lane Bryan #PlusIsEqual event, which made a strong statement within the fashion, calling for more diversity in fashion.
Our #Laners were there for #LaneBryant’s Times Square kick-off. Team lead Apriel Biggs describes the energy. “This event was amazing!” she gushes. “It was such a rush to be apart of history. For the first time women of all sizes banned together in Times Square to demand fashion equality! Women of all sizes are beautiful, and magazines and the fashion industry need to begin to recognize that.” The campaign launch featured appearances by Wendy Williams and Brad Goreski, along with performances by the Brooklyn United Marching Band and the dance group Pretty Big Movement. We got tons of photos!
