Our Year in Review
2017 has been a big year for Mustard Lane! We’ve been busy bees staffing events in 50+ markets across the country. Our custom database, created by Zurnet, has over 5,000 members and is constantly growing! This year alone we’ve completed 7 tours, sending Laners around the country for work! One memorable tour was working with Broderville and Crayola for the reveal of Crayola’s new color, Bluetiful! The Laners have also worked pop-up stores in many different states. We recently worked with SEG Services and VS Pink for the Holiday Pop-Up Store in SOHO. This year we’ve enjoyed working several movie premieres, a few of our favorite’s have been The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Santa Clarita Diet, Defenders, Billions, Stranger Things, SMILF, Bright and GLOW! Needless to say, our year has been anything but boring!
With ML constantly growing we brought in another full-time internal staff member. As the newest member of Mustard Lane, Lynzie joins us as our Chief Experience Officer and is responsible for developing & implementing best practices for both retaining and celebrating the Laners and our clients. You can find her both in office and onsite ensuring everything is running seamlessly! Lynzie brings more than 10 years of customer service experience to Mustard Lane, most recently having worked for Casper Sleep on the Experiential Marketing team, traveling all across the US, UK & Canada, executing unforgettable events for clients & consumers alike! She’s a perfect fit for our Laner family and we couldn’t be happier to have her.
When not on the Lane, Lynzie manages the Instagram account @RuPaws_Drag_Race in which she and co-creator John Jeffords, hand make kitty couture as inspired by the television show RuPaul’s Drag Race. @RuPaws_Drag_Race currently has 65k followers and has recently been featured on national television on Vh1 & Comedy Central as well as on People.com & BuzzFeed. Lynzie also uses her feline prowess to raise money for organizations such as Planned Parenthood and AIDS Walk NYC. If you love RuPaw’s as much as we do you can purchase merchandise on their website!
This past October we launched our new event space, Meaux Space! Located in the heart of Chelsea, Meaux Space is a versatile, open aired space with large windows overlooking Hudson Yards and the Hudson River. The space is 1,800 square feet and fully equipped with a kitchen, beautiful views, dining room table, plenty of seating and a balcony! Since the launch Meaux has been booking up quickly. So far it’s held two concerts, two launch parties, a handful of networking events, several birthday parties, and even been rented out to shoot a short film and photoshoot. We can’t wait to see what else Meaux is utilized for!
The year has been filled with excitement and new opportunities. When we’re not busy staffing events or booking out Meaux we’ve been working tirelessly on improving our process. Look out for the launch of Dijon 2.0 and the revamp of the Mustard Lane website. ML is growing tremendously and we’re so excited about our 2018 plans!
