Meet CJ! Our talented and FIT Laner of the Week!! This Laner is originally from Bloomfield, New Jersey but currently calls Philadelphia home. CJ loves weight training and martial arts and when he's not on the Lane, you can find him pursing his passion for films and acting. He just signed with his first talent agency and he is excited to get his acting career started! CJ has a hidden talent of nailing every accent you can throw at him! That should come in handy!! We love having this passionate and energetic Laner on our team!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
I love how welcoming and easy to work with Mustard Lane has been. Another great quality about Mustard Lane is the opportunities they present you with! Also working events has been a lot fun, I've met so many cool people and learned a lot about the brands that we promote.
When you're not on the Lane...what are you doing?!
Probably at the gym or getting something to eat.
Favorite restaurant or food?
I would have to say my favorite food is a nice sandwich. They're always good and there's so many different kinds to choose from!
What is one of your goals for 2022?
My main goal for this year would be to go on more auditions on weekly basis. The more opportunities the better and I just enjoy the whole process!
Name a place you'd love to travel to. And why?!
I've wanted to travel to Japan because I've always loved the food and the culture. I've always thought Tokyo would be a cool city to explore and the country side looks beautiful.
What's your favorite way to spend a day off?
Definitely binging a good show with some food and some snacks. I don't think it gets any better than that.
Do you prefer podcasts or books? Favorite one?
I dabble in podcasts here and there but I would say I prefer books. I think my favorite book is still The Hobbit. It's an amazing story and it got me into the fantasy genre.
What's your hidden talent?!
I'm weirdly good at imitating accents. If I have a few minutes to practice and get comfortable I feel like there isn't an accent out there that I can't do!
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
I would say it would have be playing a Jedi in a star wars movie or TV series. It doesn't really matter what the part is, it would be awesome to just have my own lightsaber and Jedi robes!
What's an essential part of your daily routine?
It might sound cliche but it would be my morning cup or cups of coffee. If I don't have coffee I'll feel like I'm missing something the entire day.
What is your favorite family or friend tradition?
For my family it was pizza Friday, we ordered pizza almost every Friday when I was a kid. We probably could have made healthier choices but it was great.
What inspires you most?
My little brother, seeing how much he's grown into the person he is today reminds of how you can accomplish if you try!
