Bobby has been on the Lane for about six years now. He’s part of our core NYC team and often manages events for ML. Aside from being a Laner, Bobby is an actor, director, choreographer, personal trainer and online business owner! He’s an avid fan of HGTV (c’mon Fixer Upper!!) and a roller coaster enthusiast!! (Six Flags trip anyone??) Currently Bobby is focused on running his online company HashTagTeesandMore.com. Graphic & Apparel design has always been of interest to Bobby so he’s turned it into a hobby/retail store.
Fun Fact #1: Beck is my mom’s maiden name. When I joined equity I was initially denied because someone was already registered under my name. It’s weird being told you can’t be who you’re known as. I’ve grown to like it though because it’s a way to honor my mom’s family.
Fun Fact #2: Most people think I’m an extrovert but truly I’m an ambivert. Check it out here! https://introvertdear.com/ambivert-meaning-definition/#What_Is_Ambiversion
What was your favorite ML gig?
That’s a tough one! I mean where else can you work where one day you’re sailing the Hudson in NYC’s oldest fireboat, then at night checking in volunteers at a SwingLeft rally & getting to see Sara Bareilles perform, then go downtown to have your makeup done for a Pop Tarts Halloween event and jump over to Brooklyn to escort Tracy Morgan from his Rolls Royce and pass out cookies for his birthday!!

It varies depending on the day! Sometimes I’m up & at ’em early and then other days I use to re-charge. Currently my sister is going through some very tough times physically & mentally so I always send her an uplifting Bitmoji as soon as I wake up.
