Laner Crystal Mosser loves musical theater, Mustard Lane, and volunteering for animal shelters and rescues. An accomplished actress, some of her favorite shows and roles include Candide at the Shakespeare Theatre Company (directed by Mary Zimmerman), Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Cindy Lou in The Marvelous Wonderettes, and Pippin in The Great American Trailer Park Musical. She recently discovered a passion for directing as well, after spearheading her first professional production of The Marvelous Wonderettes last year in upstate NY. She was surprised to find herself falling in love with the business side of theater, and as a result, she is currently developing several business ventures in casting and directing. When not involved in shows, Crystal has found a lovely and sisterly niche with Mustard Lane. “I like to describe it as a sorority house. I felt that I instantly belonged and my boss, also Kristal, completely understood me. I felt that this was the perfect opportunity, in so many ways. Most importantly, beyond the jobs being fun and always educating, I love the people I work with.” We love having her on board!
