Meet Alex!! Our talented and adventure loving Laner of the Week!! Originally from Kansas, Alex went to college for Dance Performance at Oklahoma City University. On top of performing, this Laner has several passions! Including developing games! He is a game designer with one game already under his belt! He is currently working on his second. Off the Lane, you can find Alex hiking, playing board games, or adventuring around his surroundings! We love having this tech savvy Laner on the team!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
I love the people who work at Mustard Lane - such a great group and environment to be surrounded by :)! I love the fast paced energy of events too!
When you're not on the Lane...what are you doing?!
Probably playing games, hiking, or eating a Thai food lunch special.
Favorite restaurant or food?
Thai Food! Spice is incredible! I also love Mexican and Szechuan food too!
What is one of your goals for 2022?
I’d love to travel a lot more and complete all of the artwork for my tabletop game!
Name a place you'd love to travel to. And why?!
I really wanna explore Italy - exploring those beautiful coasts with wine, pasta, and cheese just sounds like a dream! I’d also love to see more of the West Coast in general!
What's your favorite way to spend a day off?
Probably with brunch, a bit of outside time, good company, and gaming!
Do you prefer podcasts or books? Favorite one?
Books for sure! It’s too hard to choose just one, but I love The Subtle Knife in the His Dark Materials series!
What's your hidden talent?!
Being a travel agent - I love putting together itineraries!
If you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
I’d love to do a National Tour again! Traveling to different places and being able to perform is truly the dream!
What's an essential part of your daily routine?
My Lush products - I used to work there in college and use them almost daily! I have wayyyy too many!
What is your favorite family or friend tradition?
Probably Christmas Eve with the family at my Uncle’s farm. Magical times :).
What inspires you most?
My friends and family. People who work hard and receive success I just go over the moon for! My best friend Ryan is super inspirational to me too in our career path.
