Kim is a new LA Laner, she’s been with the team for just a few months. So far her favorite event was working with Netflix for the Premiere of their hit show, “Glow” at Muscle Beach! Kim said “It was such an amazing day outside and as a BA I got to beauti-fy myself with some fun lip colors and glitter. Who doesn’t love glitter?! I loved getting to have fun and talk to so many different people and getting a little bronze on my cheeks too!”
Kim recently received a BFA from the Conservatory of Music & Dance at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Outside the Lane Kim loves dancing, singing and acting at many of LA’s wonderful studios. She also enjoys teaching and setting choreography for dance studios. If for some reason she’s not twirling about, you can find her at the pool or the beach relaxing with a podcast or a good book.
Over the years, Kim gained notoriety as a competitive dancer where she won 10 national and international titles and was a top 30 finalist in Season 5 of FOX TV’s “So You Think You Can Dance”. Kim was awarded a number of scholarships to various conventions, master classes and dance programs and had the opportunity to assist choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Lane Napper and Mikeal Knight as well as convention faculty. A “triple threat”, Kim was regularly seen in regional theatrical performances. Most recently, she received standing ovations for her portrayal of Cassie in ‘A Chorus Line’.
