For the past seven years, this
peach of a company has grown alongside Mustard Lane. Literally! ML CEO Kristal Mallookis and Herb N Peach founder Ally Lipton shared office space in the nascent years of their respective companies. According to Mallookis, Lipton makes the ideal roommate. "She has the biggest heart of anyone I know, and is extremely passionate," Mallookis says. Kristal's first catering gig was one of Lipton's events a near nine years ago, and the rest is history.
Herb N Peach is a fun and fresh, sweet and savory catering company specializing in corporate and special events. "It's a big city," Lipton says. "Someone's gotta cater it!" Lipton is a seasoned catering veteran who understands that even those with the most discriminating tastes can sometimes be on a budget. Her reasonable, yet hip approach has earned accolades all over town. Most recently, the company has spilled onto the streets of New York, opening up the Herb N Peach Sweetery on West 34th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. Specialties include gravy-n-biscuits, quiche, and individual cupcakes, crumbles and cakes. Stop by sometime and satisfy your sweet tooth! You will almost definitely see a Laner there.
