Our Laner of the Week, Ben, is originally from Edmonton AB, Canada! He’s been living in NYC since 2015. He moved there with a job on Broadway, which then led him to perform in the show’s first national tour – visiting 31 cities – a great introduction to the US! His wife has been a Laner for many years, and we’re honored to have Ben join the Laner ranks! Catch all his fun answers below..!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
Really enjoying working the different events that each have had their bespoke needs. Always something different to look forward to!

Any goals or things you’re looking forward to for the rest of 2026?
My wife is about to join the national tour of Death Becomes Her and hit the road for the year – so I’m looking forward to saving up to visit her in all the great cities she’ll be performing in.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go, and why?!
Tokyo. I’ve been before but it was v. locked down due to Covid – I had to travel for work but didn’t get time to explore much! Can’t wait to get back.

Hanging in my apartment, with my two cats.
Fave movies or TV shows you’ve seen recently?!
Hmmm I’m watching Widows Bay these days. And the new season of Ted Lasso.
It’s SUMMER on the Lane! Pool or Beach?

Authenticity is key – making connections with new teams is always a joy for me.
What’s a brand or event that you would love to represent or work as a Laner, should the chance ever arise?
Hmmm an event with a great view of the city from high up above!
Who inspires you most?
My wife. She’s a superstar and has the most insane work ethic.
Any advice for someone wanting to become a Laner?
