Jacque is from Sacramento, CA. Not only is she our Laner of the Week, she’s also currently enjoying all that comes with being a stay-at-home Mom and teacher for her (almost!) seven year old daughter. If that isn’t already a full plate, she’s also collaborating with the brand We Over Me on custom works of clothing and art!
What do you like about Mustard Lane or just working events in general?
I’ve been in the industry for over twenty years now and Mustard Lane is definitely the company needed to represent Brand Ambassadors properly. I look forward to every single event with Mustard Lane.
When you’re not on the Lane…what are you doing?!
Being a wife and mother at home. Very chill and relaxing but we have fun outings! My wild days have been had with my youth. 🙂
Favorite restaurant or food?
I never know how to answer this since I love food in general, but if I had to choose a favorite dish it’s always been Kahlua pork and cabbage, a staple in Hawaii, where my family is from. Also I’ve lived half my life off of Taco Bell so I always give credit to them for keeping me alive.
What is one of your goals for 2024?
Definitely getting a new car! …unfortunately my current car is ready to kick the bucket on me.
Name a place beyond the Lane you’d love to travel to, and why?!
Hawaii is always my favorite place to travel since I was a child, and it’s where I plan to eventually retire and live out my days! Not sure about fun stories…but Hawaii is truly a piece of heaven on earth; I feel completely at peace every time I’m there. I have yet to travel the world but I do plan too sometime soon… got the passport ready and everything!
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Being as lazy as possible! Ha! And with my family. Any time with my family is the best for me.
Do you prefer podcasts or books? Favorite one?
Always listening to 90s music – my youth at the time of the generation; and honestly..? Classical music. Being a dancer all my life, music is a big part of me, so naturally I love all music but Classical is a big part from dance.
Now that you’re Laner of the Week…if you could have your dream job tomorrow, what would it be?
Been doing my dream job my whole life: a model and dancer. I started modeling at ten years old and my career just progressed as I got older. I’ve also been dancing since twelve years old with my schools, and with a company doing competitive dance. Now I’m doing my other dream job which was to be a stay-at-home Mom once I started my family. 🙂
What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Affirmations with my husband. Our partnership is definitely essential to us having positive productive days daily. Everyday is hard, but when we choose to be there for each other consistently, we can achieve anything and I absolutely cherish that.
Salty or Sweet?!
Both! I like chocolate-dipped pretzels.
Superbowl or Halftime Show?!
Superbowl! I’m a sports gal 😉
What’s a brand or event that you would love to represent or work as a Laner should the chance ever arise?
I’ve done all kinds of events and have represented all sorts of brands over the last two decades. I think I’ve honestly done everything I’ve ever wanted with this career and that has been the true blessing and opportunity!
What inspires you most?
My family. I know I talk about them a lot, but they are truly inspirational people.
