2025: Joy to the Lane! Well, folks, we’ve hit the quarter mark of the century! Here at Mustard Lane, it’s been a year of healing and growth, and we are excited to continue this momentum, moving onward into the new year. Before we can fully do that though…we want to acknowledge all that has happened on the Lane in 2025!
It may be the end of the year, but it’s certainly not the end of finding new Laners! In 2025, we had 223 new Laners join our roster! Wowza! We’re so grateful for Courtney, who heads up all things Casting.
Now, in addition to those new Laners, we also had 1,792 Laners work overall this year! We’re proud of this! With over 714 events, broken down into 19,482 shifts…that’s a lot of job opportunities for these fantastic folks this year. We are so happy to be a part of that!
Of course, we wouldn’t have shifts to book without our clients! In 2025, those previously mentioned 714 gigs all came from 132 clients. We love the fact that producers and agencies we work with love our Laners and their hard work, and they keep comin’ back! Success!
And! 2025 was the year the incredible Christine joined our team, heading up all things HR-related!
Joy on the Inside!
Well. Amidst all that good, statistical stuff – we thought it time to check in with the Mustard Lane Internal Team to see how their year is wrapping up – no pun intended! – on a more personal note. 😉
Kristal, what did 2025 teach you, that you can bring with you into the New Year? (maybe a self-realization, or a life lesson of sorts, or something joyful too!)

“2025 taught me that I can balance all the things… ML, OTL, life, personal time, pups… and of course, sourdough bread! Just need to remind myself to: take one step at a time, not to multitask but truly give something 150% of my attention at a time, and that it’s okay to say no once in a while.”
Ok, Matty…what’s on your horizons for 2026…?!
“This year felt like a rebuilding year for me..so I’m super excited to keep on keepin’ on, having laid some nice groundwork! It seems like…Broadway dreams should be comin’ true this year… RIIIGHT?!?!”

Courtney! What’s a 2025: Joy to the Lane moment with ML where you thought, “Huh. I freakin’ love what we do and I’m proud to be part of this!” ..?
“Actually, I pretty much feel this way anytime anyone asks me what my job is! I am always excited to talk about Mustard Lane, primarily because of the internal team and of course our fearless leader, Kristal, and the environment she has fostered here. The care of everyone on this team and the good vibes of the office are absolutely unmatched, and it makes me proud to be a part of, and to talk about!”
And what is Jillian looking forward to in this new year?!

“In 2026, I’ll be celebrating a milestone birthday and I’m looking forward to really leaning into JOY! 2025 was rough, life is short and I can’t wait to celebrate life, love and everything in between in 2026!”
The lovely Kelly! What’s something you learned this past year?
“2025 taught me that it’s ‘OK to be a slow creator’ (which is also a quote from a sick band we saw perform called Mares of Thrace! And yes I snagged one of their amazing band shirts). Creativity works on its own time … despite our best efforts to sometimes try rushing it! So in 2026 I want to trust the creative process and honor the time it takes to make something (hopefully) great.”

Are we ready for Christine?!??! How ’bout you; any moments you found yourself just super proud of Mustard Lane?

“Even as recently as this holiday season, I was making sure NOT to cry happy tears on the job. We did an event for Toys for Tots and seeing kids be surprised by Stitch and get GIANT BAGS of FREE toys made my whole month. Plus, now they all have matching pajamas, which is just the cherry on top! It makes me remember that these experiences that we get to be part of are core memories, first dates, career highlights, etc. Just all the special stuff!”
Perhaps last (only this time!), but certainly not least: Deven! Any lessons from 2025?
“1. Fanny packs, crocs, and a bowl to put your change in are my gateway to true adulthood.
2. You know you are getting old when you get the same sensation from rocking chairs that you do roller coasters.
3. The last 10% of a tube of toothpaste lasts about as long as the first 90%.
4. “DO NOT TOUCH” would probably be horrible to read in braille.
5. If you think no one cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.”
…and there ya have it, folks! What a 2025; Joy to the Lane! It seems come rain or come shine, Mustard Lane is full of joy, both on and off the Lane. We can’t wait for all the Laners, events and clients to come. Happy Holidays and we’ll see you in 2026!
